The City of Montclair is turning 50 this year. Throughout 2006, the City is hosting several events commemorating this special occasion. Some of the events will include:

"Images of America - Montclair" Book Release - Book signing by Mayor Paul Eaton on Saturday, May 20, 2006 from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. at Barnes and Noble at Montclair Plaza

50th Anniversary Commemorative Banners placed on major Montclair streets

Historical timeline exhibits to be placed in City Hall, the Montclair Branch Library, and in various Montclair schools - April 2006

State of the City Luncheon - March 30, 2006

Art and Essay Contest for K-12 grades - May 2006

Family Fun Festival - June 3, 2006, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. - Alma Hofman Park (Shark Park)
