It is the time of year again when Public Works crews must clear streets of debris and fill potholes. Crews are also checking and cleaning storm drain catch basins as needed to ensure that storm water is able to flow easily. As always, filled sand bags are available to Montclair property owners. Up to ten sand bags per property may be picked up at the City Yard (10835 Monte Vista Avenue) during working hours, with proof of residency. So far this fall, about 80 sand bags have been distributed.
